Community rules and terms of use

These rules apply to everyone who uses a member account or publishes posts. By registering you accept the version in force at that time.

Version:
2026-10-13

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The German version is the authoritative one, because the operator is based in Germany.

Version 2026-10-13. You accepted this version when you registered; the time and version number are stored in your account.

Scope

These rules apply to all community features of Leonidatime on leonidatime.de and leonidatime.com: forum, article comments, member chat, profiles and reports. One account is valid for both domains. Reading is possible without an account; only registered, verified members can post.

Membership is free of charge. By registering you enter into a usage agreement for the account, the content of which is these rules and the privacy policy. You can terminate the account at any time (see account and deletion).

Minimum age 18

Grand Theft Auto is rated for adults (USK 18, PEGI 18, ESRB M). The community discusses the content of this game, so you may only become a member if you are at least 18 years old. You confirm this by self-declaration when registering; we store the time of the confirmation.

If it turns out that a member is younger, we delete the account. More under youth protection.

No leaks and no unauthorised material

We do not publish, link to or describe leaked or otherwise unauthorised material. This also applies to community posts. In particular, the following is prohibited:

  • links, files, screenshots, videos or transcripts from developer builds, build dumps, source code or datamined game files,
  • descriptions of where or how to obtain such material (including veiled hints such as pointers to forums, channels or search terms),
  • retelling content known exclusively from leaks as if it were confirmed fact.

Talking about “leaks” as an event (for example an official statement about them) without sharing material is allowed. Posts containing leak keywords are automatically held for review; posts with links to known leak distributors are automatically rejected.

No cheats, mod menus, cracks or account trading

Posts that advertise, offer, link to or give instructions for the following are not allowed:

  • cheats, mod menus, aimbots, wallhacks and other interference with online game modes,
  • cracks, key generators, pirated copies or circumvention of copy protection,
  • buying, selling, trading or “recovering” game accounts, in-game currency or modded accounts,
  • exploiting bugs (glitches/exploits) that harm other players or violate the game provider's rules.

Factual discussion of modding in single-player modes is possible as long as no downloads or instructions for the items above are shared.

Copyright and contribution licence

Publish only content you created yourself or have permission to use. Third-party texts, images, videos or long quotations without permission are not allowed; short quotations with attribution within the limits of Section 51 UrhG are fine. You may name trademarks descriptively.

Contribution licence: by publishing, you grant Leonidatime a simple, royalty-free, perpetual right to make your post publicly available on both domains (leonidatime.de, leonidatime.com), to reproduce it technically (storage, caches, backups) and to display it in overviews, feeds and search. You remain the author. You cannot delete posts yourself; if your account is deleted, your posts remain in anonymised form (without username) so that other members' discussions stay readable – the licence continues for that purpose (see account and deletion). You can request full removal of individual posts with a reason; quotations of your post in other members' replies and technical backups may persist for a transitional period afterwards.

If the editorial team wants to mention a community post in an article, we ask first and credit you by username – unless you prefer otherwise.

How we treat each other

  • Stay respectful: no insults, threats, harassment or deliberate provocation.
  • No discrimination or degradation based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or other characteristics.
  • No personal data of third parties (names, addresses, contact details, pictures) without their consent – including developers.
  • No illegal content: glorification of violence, incitement to hatred, pornographic content, calls for criminal acts.
  • No spam, no advertising, no chain posts, no pushing of your own channels without relevance to the topic.
  • One account per person. No evasion of suspensions with new accounts.
  • The community is a GTA forum: posts belong in the matching category and should stay on topic.

Spoilers and sources

Story details, mission content and endings belong behind a spoiler marker – in the forum via the topic's spoiler level, in posts via the spoiler markup. Titles must not contain spoilers.

Anyone who states facts (“confirmed”, “official”) names the source, ideally as a link to the official announcement. Please label guesses as guesses. The status values we use in articles are explained in the editorial guidelines.

Moderation and measures

First posts by new members are reviewed before publication (pre-moderation). Posts with suspicious keywords or several links from new members are automatically queued for review. All other posts appear immediately and are reviewed when reported. Automatic filters support moderation but do not decide complaints on their own.

In the event of violations of these rules we may, depending on severity and repetition:

  1. issue you a warning,
  2. hide a post, a topic or a chat message, delete a post or close a topic,
  3. suspend the account temporarily (reading remains possible),
  4. suspend the account permanently (ban) – for leaks, cheat trading, serious insults or illegal content also without prior steps.

Moderation does not edit members' posts. If a post contains a rule violation, such as an impermissible link or an unmarked spoiler, we hide it and tell you why.

Each of these measures is logged with a reason and communicated to you: as a notification in your account, in the language you chose in your profile. The notice states what happened (for a temporary suspension also when it ends), the reason and what prompted it: a report, a review by our moderators, or an automatic filter or the pre-moderation of first posts holding the content for review. In every case a person made the decision. It also tells you how you can ask questions or object and that you may take the matter to court. Because you cannot log in during a suspension, we also send the reason for a temporary or permanent suspension by email to your account address. The only exception is spam (deceptive high-volume commercial content): in that case there is no notice (Art. 17(2) DSA).

If we lift a measure – we approve a held or hidden post, reopen a topic or end a suspension – you receive a short notification. Pinning or moving a topic does not restrict anything and is not notified separately.

You can send questions about or objections to a measure via the contact page (section “Moderation and community”) or directly by email to kontakt@leonidatime.de (complaint under Art. 20 DSA). Complaints are reviewed by a person, not only automatically, and answered within a reasonable time. You remain free to take the matter to the courts.

Reporting content (notice and action)

You can report illegal content or rule violations with or without an account via the report form (Art. 16 DSA). State the address of the content, the reason and – if you are a rights holder – the affected work and your authorisation. Guests provide an email address for follow-up questions.

We review reports promptly, make a decision and inform you of the outcome. We may ignore manifestly abusive reports (for example mass unfounded ones) and suspend the account on repetition (Art. 23 DSA).

Account and deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time in the account area. We delete the account data and anonymise your posts (the username is removed); the posts themselves remain readable so that other members' discussions are not destroyed. You can request full removal of individual posts with a reason. Details are in the privacy policy.

We may delete accounts that remain unverified for a longer period, as well as accounts that violate these rules (see moderation).

Changes to these rules

We may amend these rules, for example for new features or a changed legal situation. Each version carries a version number (currently 2026-10-13). We announce material changes to members in their account with reasonable notice; anyone who disagrees can terminate the account. Continued use after the notice period means the new version applies.
