A small, independent magazine that puts evidence above claims.

Who we are

Leonidatime is an independent, bilingual magazine about the Grand Theft Auto series – with a German edition at leonidatime.de and an English edition at leonidatime.com. It is operated by NexuCloud Systems GbR. Responsible for the editorial content within the meaning of Section 18(2) of the German Interstate Media Treaty (MStV): Finn Sonnenberg, c/o CloudSpace Hub, Media-Allee 42, Gebäude C, 10115 Berlin.

We are a small editorial team and do not publish invented author profiles. Every piece states that it was researched from sources by the editorial team and checked automatically; the person named in the legal notice remains responsible.

Leonidatime is an unofficial, independent fan site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or any of their subsidiaries. Grand Theft Auto, GTA, Rockstar Games and all related names, trademarks, logos and images are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for identification and editorial reporting. We do not publish or link to leaked or otherwise unauthorized material.

How we work

We work from sources. Every factual claim has a retrievable source with a check date – usually an official statement by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or a platform operator, otherwise a clearly attributed report by another outlet.

We do not claim our own play tests. Where others write “hands-on” or “tested”, we write what is substantiated and label it: “officially confirmed”, “observed in official material”, “reported by source”, “unconfirmed”, “refuted” or “outdated”. What we cannot substantiate we leave out or mark as open.

Every article starts with the concrete answer to the question it addresses, states the date of the information and places sources directly next to the statements. Where sources contradict each other, we show the contradiction instead of guessing one side.

Automated checks – described honestly

Before an article is published, our software automatically checks:

  • whether at least one source with a check date is attached and whether sources have gone unchecked for more than 90 days,
  • whether a source is flagged as a leak or uncleared source, or whether text and links point to leaked material,
  • whether the text claims our own play tests or experiences,
  • whether an image without a cleared rights record is used,
  • whether the article's added value is documented (which question do we answer better, which contradiction do we resolve).

If a check fails, the article is not published. These checks are not proof of truth: they detect formal shortcomings, not every factual error. That is why there is a public corrections list, and why we welcome your hints.

AI assistance

We use AI-assisted tools for research, drafting, translation and format checks. They speed up the work but replace neither evidence nor responsibility: every published statement must rest on a retrievable source, and the person named in the legal notice bears responsibility. AI tools do not generate game scenes that are presented as real screenshots. How we handle this in detail is set out in the editorial guidelines.

Independence: non-commercial

Leonidatime is independent and receives no support from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. The site is non-commercial: no advertising, no paid or sponsored content, no affiliate links and no paid membership – we do not make money with Leonidatime. How we use official images on the basis of Rockstar Games' fan policy is explained in our editorial guidelines.
