GTA 6 languages: voice acting, subtitles and menus according to the official store listings

Will GTA VI have voice acting in other languages? Rockstar Games has not published its own statement on languages. The most reliable information right now is in an official store: the Xbox Store listing for GTA VI shows, language by language, whether voice audio, menus and subtitles are supported. We read these details directly on the listing on October 22, 2026, rather than relying on reports.

What the Xbox Store listing says

The listing shows “13 supported languages.” For each language, the store lists three items: audio, interface (menus) and subtitles. As of October 22, 2026:

• English (United States): audio, menus and subtitles.
• German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional): menus and subtitles, no voice audio.

In other words, the spoken dialogue is in English, and everything you read, such as menus and subtitles, is available in all 13 languages. No other voice track is listed in the store.

For comparison: GTA V

GTA V for Xbox Series X|S is also listed in the Xbox Store with English voice audio only, in its case both US and UK English, plus menus and subtitles in the other languages. GTA VI follows its predecessor here; UK English is not listed separately for GTA VI.

PlayStation 5

GTA VI and the Ultimate Edition are already listed in the PlayStation Store, but the fields for spoken and screen languages are still empty (as of October 22, 2026). Rockstar has not announced different language versions for PS5 and Xbox. Once Sony adds the details, we will compare them here.

• The language details in the PlayStation Store.
• Whether more languages or voice tracks will follow; nothing has been announced.
