- Official website
Cal Hampton is one of the eight character profiles Rockstar published in the Only in Leonida section alongside Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025; Game Informer reported on them the same day. Rockstar introduces him as a friend of Jason Duval who also works for Brian Heder.
His profile paints him as a homebody who likes to listen in on the Coast Guard's radio traffic over a beer and has a soft spot for conspiracy theories from the internet. Brian is his link to Jason's line of work: Jason lives in one of Brian's properties without paying rent and helps him with shakedowns in return. You can find every profile under Characters and the official videos under Trailers & videos.
What is not confirmed
- Voice actor: As of October 14, 2026, we have found no official cast list from Rockstar. Names circulating for Cal are unconfirmed fan theories, so we do not name anyone.
- Role in the story: Beyond the profile, Rockstar has not revealed what part Cal plays. His profile arrived alongside Trailer 2, but our sources do not pin down which scenes in the official videos show him, so we do not list a video appearance yet.
- Wording: We paraphrase the profile description and have not yet checked the exact wording against the original.
