- Vice City
- Official website
Vice City is one of the six places Rockstar introduced on May 6, 2025, with a page of its own in the “Only in Leonida” section. The meta text of the official pages refers to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City “and beyond,” and on the downloads page Rockstar also offers a Vice City postcard design. According to MMO Culture’s map guide, the official page describes Vice City as a neon-lit, sun-drenched metropolis at the heart of the state and names Ocean Beach, Little Cuba and the VC Port – we have not yet checked that wording against the original.
The official character profiles tie several characters to the city: Boobie Ike is a Vice City legend who turned his street past into a legal business empire of real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Dre'Quan Priest is introduced as an up-and-coming music entrepreneur in the Vice City scene. More under Characters.
According to GamesRadar and other outlets, Rockstar added an animated fly-by video of Vice City to the website in June 2026, showing ships, aircraft, a Ferris wheel and high-rise construction sites; per the press, it introduced no new place names. The official trailers are collected under Trailers & videos.
What is not confirmed
- Districts: There is no complete official list. Names such as Little Haiti, Washington Beach, Starfish Island or “Vice City International Airport” come from fan speculation, for example comparisons with GTA Vice City (2002), and have not been confirmed by Rockstar.
- Places from the Extended Look: According to SVG (August 2026), a rooftop bar called “Effluvia” appears in it, and the GamesRadar live blog from August 27, 2026, mentions “Bayside.” Whether Rockstar uses these names in text is unknown.
- Size and borders: Rockstar has not published Vice City’s size or borders; there is no documented official size figure. There is no official map; documented locations are listed in our places directory.
